Pronouns in natural languages and references in code both aim to eliminate redundancy and connect ideas.
While words like he, it, or they depend on human context and can sometimes be ambiguous, programming references—like variables, pointers, or conditions in if / then statements—require absolute, deterministic logic. A variable or condition must always resolve to an exact memory address or Boolean value (True/False).
What's interesting is I do one of these exercises naturally. When I'm trying to learn something I will sit and pretend that I'm teaching the very topic or skill in which I'm learning. It does help cuz I do this over and over again. When I learn something new I repetitively incorporate it to what I know and give it purpose. I also think about what I've learned all day, while doing small tasks. It's like the information carves itself into my brain 🧠⛏️

The speaker breaks down learning into core principles: focusing on the 20% of effort that yields 80% of results, embracing rapid failure as feedback, using active recall, and slowing down to master one subtopic at a time with a growth mindset. However, the video misses key cognitive strategies like spaced repetition, the forgetting curve, sleep for memory consolidation, deliberate practice, and interleaving.
