It’s 2024, and not all of us have the time to create original content for social media. But did you know there’s a hack on Instagram that allows you to go viral with just one post without even needing to create your own content? In this blog, I’m going to teach you how to hack Instagram using AI focus and copy-paste techniques.
Why TikTok?
Trends always start from TikTok, and we need to find something that’s going viral on TikTok but hasn’t yet found its way to Instagram. This way, we ensure we ride the trend wave early on Instagram.
Finding Viral Content
While scrolling through TikTok, I come across a few faceless TikTok accounts. I jot down the niches of those with high viewership and also take note of the niche-specific hashtags they are using. This is insanely important.
Researching Hashtags
After compiling a list of page categories and their hashtags, I close TikTok and open Instagram. I go to the Instagram search bar and search for the hashtags of each high-engagement niche on my list. For example, the “put a finger down” videos hashtag on TikTok had billions of views and thousands of videos, but on Instagram, only a couple of thousand videos have that hashtag. This means the market on Instagram is literally untapped. We saw that these videos have the potential to get billions of views on TikTok, and most TikTok users also have Instagram, which means we can target these people on Instagram where there is less competition.
Important Tip
Ensure the TikTok accounts you analyze in the beginning are currently active and have great engagement. Otherwise, you might end up with an account with no engagements in an expired niche.
Repurposing TikTok Videos
I love this technique because it’s really smart. You’re basically repurposing old TikTok videos for Instagram and vice versa, making them viral again. Like, how did we not think of this earlier?
Optimal Posting Times
Time slot number one is 10:00 a.m. to noon. However, there are several things to cover before we get to that specific time slot:
Instagram operates on a supply and demand basis. If there’s a large supply of content and demand is consistent, each piece of content gets fewer views than it could have otherwise. By posting at off-times, there’s likely higher demand for content, and you’ll end up getting more views.

Let’s say I’m coming up with a fresh idea and I’m going to start a new one and call it “idea”. Eddie is in my niche, so I’ll sort his most viewed posts by views. I’ll open his most viewed video in a new tab, copy the link, and go to a transcript tool like TalkScript.
I’ll enter the link, click Start, and it will give me the entire transcript of the video. Once it’s done transcribing, I’ll copy the transcript and paste it into my document. Now, I have the entire transcript and can rewrite the script in my own version.
